Wanda Aikens

Wanda is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. After a career in commercial art, Wanda studied fine art with many teachers over the years and has been a successful fine artist since 1991, concentrating on commissions, shows and teaching. She was honored with a one-person show at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Three Rivers.

“I am interested in painting life reflections. My desire is to transfix a sense of place and time,”she says.

She is a member of the Holland Area Arts Council, Holland Friends of Art and the Plein Air Artists of West Michigan. She is currently teaching at Evergreen Commons in
Holland, Mich.
